K46 Upgrade

Phase 2 of the William Nicol Upgrade

(Steyn City to Diepsloot and N14)

The Basic Assessment report has been submitted to GDARD on 10 July 2014.  Ref no. GDARD 002/13-14/E0171

The project entails the following:  The proposed upgrade of Road K46 from the PWV 5 to the N14 along a stretch of approximately 5 kilometres, The upgrade will consist of the doubling of the existing one lane in each direction road infrastructure to a two lane in each direction road within the 62 metre road reserve, The proposed upgrade activities will cross two drainage ways, one being the Diepsloot River.
